BEVERLY ANNE EDKINS (nee DAVIDSON) Suddenly on March 1, 2015, Anne passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Remembering Anne, with love, are her husband of 54 years, Don; her children Cheryl (Bill) Lawson, Cathy Edkins, and Scott (Loreen) Edkins; her grandchildren Brenna, Kade, Carlee, Tera and Tamara; brother Barrie (Jan) Davidson; brother-in-law Doug (Bonnie) Edkins, brother-in-law Del Bergsgaard and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Anne was born to Dr. Andrew and Hilda Davidson on November 20, 1937 in Cartwright, Manitoba where she completed her high school education. Anne went on to graduate from Misericordia School Of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1960. She enjoyed her career in nursing, working in various locations throughout the province of Manitoba. Anne and Don retired in 1993 and moved back to her home town of Cartwright, Manitoba close to their summer get away at Rock Lake. They enjoyed many years of traveling with friends and family. They became Texas snow birds and enjoyed spending winters with all their friends at Pine to Palm in Weslaco, Texas and summers at Rock Lake. Anne enjoyed travelling, reading, playing cards and crosswords but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved them very much. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7 at the Cartwright United Church with Reverend Beth Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cartwright Davidson Memorial Hospital. Internment will take place at a later date.
