ANNE DIPLOCK (nee Jaremko) December 21, 1932 - March 1, 2015 With great sadness our mother Anne Diplock passed away March 1, 2015. Once her children were older she worked part time in the Valley Room at Eatons and for a short while in food services at the Hudson Bay. She was also a banquet server for the Dakota Hotel. Anne loved to play the mandolin, sing and play cards. She knitted slippers and sweaters with gusto. Anne had a great sense of humor and an intellectual curiosity. She loved to read and was a regular at the West Kildonan Library. Anne resided at Poseidon Care Centre for the past three years. We thank all the caring people at Poseidon for their dedication and commitment. Anne is survived by one daughter, Joanne, two sons Dan (Mary) and Tom (Michele), one grandson Steven, sister Victoria Wookey and two sisters-in-law Joan Patry and Margaret Jaremko. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I met Anne when I started working at Poseidon and enjoyed her quiet company very much. We used to discuss and trade books on occasion and I am going to miss her very much. My sincerest condolences to her family at this time. - Posted by: Lorraine Briggs (staff at Poseidon) on: Mar 07, 2015
