DENNIS CHARTRAND May 29, 1945 - February 6, 2015 It is with great sadness that the family of Dennis Chartrand announces his sudden passing due to pneumonia, while vacationing in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Dennis will be forever missed and fondly remembered by his brothers Larry (Gale) Maurice (Lynda), Roy (Rita), Gerald (Pressy) and sister Blanche (Marcil). Dennis was born in Inwood, MB to the late Harvée and Germaine Chartrand. He attended Haland School and Inwood High School. He taught school in Manitoba and British Columbia before obtaining his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. Dennis spent much of his life teaching school and working in the security industry in Taiwan, Korea Australia and Canada. Among his many accomplishments, he authored four books - two non-fiction and two fiction. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will follow.
