Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS ANTHONY KAGAN On Saturday, February 28, 2015, Thomas passed away at the age of 95. He is survived by his brother Dr. Joseph (Irene) Kagan and family as well as his sister Frances Ilkow and family. Predeceased by his sister Rose (Sr. M. Alphonsus, OSB) Thomas was born to Mary and Frank Kagan of Winnipeg where he attended Isaac Newton High School and became a graduate of Success Business College. Thomas worked as a bookkeeper at Booth Fisheries. He joined the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, went overseas and was wounded in the Battle of Normandy. Afterwards, he spent some time in England and Scotland while recuperating. After the war Thomas returned to Winnipeg to reside at the Polish Manor and eventually at Deer Lodge Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue, with viewing one half hour prior. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery Field of Honour. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
