We, as a group of friends on the Crescent, would get together to play games in our younger days. As we got older we played many sports on ice rinks and football mostly scrub games. The Red River was one of our summer areas for swimming, water skiing. We often built forts on the river banks behind our family homes. A lot of memories of those days gone! Sorry to hear of his passing. - Posted by: John R Gilbert (Neibour, friend, school mates) on: Mar 12, 2015

John had the math skills I could only imagine in high school. John and Arlene went together like "burger and fries". One was rarely mentioned without the other. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. As so often happens, I lost touch with both over the years, but have fond memories of them. My condolences to Arlene and the family. - Posted by: Murray Parker (former school mate) on: Mar 07, 2015
