LOLA EDNA LINDHOLM Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. With great sadness our family announces the passing of Lola on February 20, 2015 in St. Albert, Alberta at the age of 85. She is survived by her children, Kurt and Lee; grandsons, Brock and Jordan; brothers, Charlie, Murray (Tor), Jimmy and Gary; and sisters, Beth, Eleanor, Joanie, Doris, Gail and Rosalie (Neil); sisters-in-law, Mary Lindholm, Ilene Lindholm, Helen Lindholm and Isabelle Lindholm; and many nieces and nephews. Lola touched the hearts of many wherever she lived. She loved cooking, golfing, curling and crafting and especially enjoyed watching her flowers and garden grow. Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • To Lee and Kurt and all of Lola's family...so sorry that such a wonderful lady has passed. I worked with Lola at the Dugald telephone office when I was a teen and what a happy, pleasant person to learn from, lots of patience. I last saw her and Gail in 2000 in West Bank, when Joyce Spewak and I paid them a visit that resulted in many laughs as you can imagine. I have the picture of my Mom, Lola, Marjorie and Joanie curling in the Wpg. Bonspiel in 1951...I hope you have that picture too...it's a treasure! - Posted by: Gloria (Webb) Larocque (friend) on: Mar 18, 2015

  • Aunt Lola was my favorite aunt. She told it exactly the way it was. No sugar coating .Her laughter was wonderful...deep and warm. Her kindness beyond reproach. The hostess with the mostess. She knew the family history and shared willingly. A great lady who will be greatly missed. Love you! - Posted by: Mona and Thomas Enger (Niece) on: Mar 07, 2015
