DOROTHY (DOT) NYARADY (nee BAY) May 12, 1935 - March 4, 2015 Dorothy (Dot) Nyarady, in her 80th year, passed away on March 4, 2015 at Pinecrest Home with her family by her side. Dot was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB where she met Julius (Joe) Nyarady. They were married in 1960 and moved to Kenora, ON to operate the family business East End Tire Service, Hi-way Gasateria and Pineland Drive-in on the East Highway for 21 years. Dot later worked and retired from Ontario Hydro. Dot was predeceased by her husband Joe (in 2013), her mother Eva Bay (nee Kilburg), her father Fred Bay, and her nephew Timothy Bradley. Dot is survived by her two loving daughters Darlene (Philip) Humphrey of Uxbridge, ON and Gale (Richard) Cederwall and Grandson Andrew of Kenora, ON. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Michael and her daughters Deborah and Dianna; her sister Jean Bradley and her son Raymond; and many great-nephews and nieces. Gale and Darlene remember their mom being an avid bowler and having to dust many of her trophies. Dot spent the last two years of her life in Pinecrest Home where she was reunited with many of her former bowling friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Pinecrest for providing the support and care for the final years of her life as well as many special friends who visited and stayed in touch. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dot's memory to the Alzheimer Society or Pinecrest Home. As per Dot's wishes cremation and a private family interment will take place.
