ROY ERNEST KRIEGER Passed away at Royal Oak Long Term Care, Kingsville, Ontario on March 10, 2015. Aged 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Joan Marie (Sellers) (2011). Dear father of Dan (Marjorie) Krieger, Chicago, IL; Tina Marie of St. Charles, IL. Grandfather of Scott and Dana, Chicago, IL. Predeceased by parents, Ernest and Frieda Krieger and brothers, Willymax (Doris), Winnipeg; Lloyd (June) of British Columbia and Ernie (Stella) of Winnipeg. Roy was Past Commander of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 61 in Chicago, IL; Life member and Senior Chairman of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 188, Kingsville; Past Executive and Scout Master of the Boy Scouts of America in Chicago and received the Silver Beaver Award. Member and Executive of many Horticultural Societies in Ontario and Vice President of the District Horticultural Society. Past member of the Council of All Saints Lutheran Church, Chicago, IL. Former pro skater and skate instructor with Ice Fantasy of Canada. Member of the Church of the Epiphany where he was active in the musical life of the church. As per Roy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
