• Dallas was a close friend to my brother of many yrs I met him and his wife Joan both wonderful people. • I first met Dallas back in the late seventies when he was an owner operator with Drummond. He certainly was a hard man to keep up with, as he could truck all night. I recall one trip coming back to Winnipeg from Calgary, after driving all night that I finally caught up with him in Brandon next morning. We were both tired, but as we had our coffee at the Husky, I commented that I had purchased a pouch of Redman chewing tobacco at the Mohawk leaving Calgary, hoping it would help me to stay awake during the night drive. Dallas laughed and admitted that he had done the same thing that night as well.
