Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID J. TRELEAVEN February 22, 1949 - March 4, 2015 It's with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our father David J. Treleaven. Dad was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario before leaving for Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to attend architectural school. Upon graduation he relocated to Winnipeg, Manitoba to start his family and career with Cooper Rankin Architects where he has worked for the past 36 years. Apart from the great importance he placed on family and career, Dad loved his car, "Lab Lights" in good company and golfing. Dad will be sadly missed by his three children (family), colleagues and friends. In respect of his wishes, there will not be a funeral service, instead we invite you to join us in celebrating Dave's life and memory on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Silver Spike Saloon, 202 Bond St., Winnipeg, MB, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Should friends desire, donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not here to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes, filled with tears of me. I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today, While thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, And each time you think of me, I know you'll miss me too. When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart Forever in our thoughts Darren, Karli, Erica and Emma Treleaven Ryan and Tora Treleaven Michelle, Todd, Sammy and Jaxon Spencer

Dave was my next door neighbour for 10 years and also a good friend, to myself and my children. We enjoyed many stories and laughs over the years. I will always remember his kind heart and easy nature. Rest in Peace my friend. - Posted by: Bonny (Friend and Neighbour) on: Mar 16, 2015

Dave was the kind of a person that you trusted to do the job right, and he did just that. His work at Cooper Rankin was exceptional, his attention to detail, remarkable, his dependability, unquestionable. What a delight it was for me to work with Dave. I will truly miss his humble nature, his relaxed take on life, and his wise counsel. My sincere condolences to his family and the many others that were touched by Dave's kind ways. I was shocked to hear of David's recent passing. I had the pleasure of dealing with David when he purchased his SVT Mustang from our dealership. We often spoke in the showroom when he was in servicing his car and just saw him recently at the dealership. He will be missed by many of the employees that knew him at the dealership and yes, he loved that car! Condolences to the family. - Posted by: Brenda Tesch (Finance Manager at Birchwood Ford) on: Mar 12, 2015
