I would like to offer my sincere sympathy to Maggie's family. I only knew Maggie as a child when she visited her family on Prince Edward Island. We would play games and have a good time enjoying the warm summer days on the Island. My thoughts are with you. - Posted by: Verna Fitzpatrick (Cousin) on: Mar 22, 2015

Our thoughts are with you in this sad time: our warmest and sincere condolences to Phil and his family as they navigate the days after the death of their dear wife, mother and grandmother. Thank you for taking the time during these difficult days to ask Cynthia to contact me directly and I am sorry I cannot make it to the funeral. My mother, Mrs Marian Haworth, also sends a message to convey her sadness at your untimely loss. Maggie walked into the Grade 7 classroom and our lives, wearing her new school kilt with grace and poise. She was the kind of girl parents wished their girls would emulate and in spite of our teen egoism, we wished the same: Maggie was bright, kind and an athlete, too. While we have not been in touch for some time, I have many warm memories of Maggie and our families. My mother mentored her in her early days of motherhood and in turn she mentored many many new parents, sharing her experiences and providing much support and encouragement. Maggie and I were in each other’s wedding parties. Whenever we got together there was always a pot of tea and subsequently a great many small children (hers and others) running in and out and orbiting around her for love and hugs. I know Maggie will always be with you, Phil, Natalie and Zach, Andrew, Stuart and Hayley, as she will always be your mother, your grandmother, your love while you have your memories and stories about her to share and pass down the years. My heartfelt thoughts go to you, with those from the other members of the Hatherell and Haworth families. - Posted by: Liz Hatherell (Friend) on: Mar 20, 2015
