Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK COVENEY June 28, 1933 - March 16, 2015 After a lengthy struggle with COPD, Frank is at peace. He will be forever missed by his children, Marie, Ronny, Donna, Bryon and Gary, 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Anne, and infant son, Robert. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Muriel, Larry and Bernadette, his sisters-in-law, Veronica, Patricia, Frances, Phyllis, and brother-in-law, Michael. Frank grew up in Montreal. He left school at a young age to help support his family when his father passed away. Even with little education, he managed to support a wife and five kids. Upon his retirement from Steinberg's in Ottawa, he was able to spend more time maintaining the yard and helping Anne with the garden. His favourite was the riding lawn mower. A private memorial will be held at a later date. If desired, donations can be made in his name to the Lung Association. Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons in charge of arrangements.
