Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Alma was my idol as we were growing up. She was three years older, a skinny tomboy, whereas I was dumpy and short-sighted. Our boy cousins allowed her to join them in games like catch, but I was all thumbs, and dropped the ball. I tried so hard to be just like her but never made it. I tried hard to contact her since but with no success, until now. - Posted by: Kay Alsop (First cousin ) on: May 11, 2015

  • I met Alma when she lived at the Sturgeon Creek Assisted Living in Winnipeg. She was a good friend to my mother Ruth Sarahs from the time mom moved in until the time that Alma moved to Calgary. She helped Mom in so many ways and our family was ever so thankful for that friendship. Thanks Alma - Posted by: Kathy Richard (Daughter of Alma's friend Ruth Sarahs) on: Mar 30, 2015

  • Alma was my mom's cousin Jean (Johnston) Gould. John Johnston my grandfather was Mrs. O Neil's sister. I remember Alma and Bert coming out to Carman to visit my grandparents and my mom and dad. Sincere sympathy to all the family. - Posted by: Carol (Gould) Brechin (cousin) on: Mar 21, 2015

  • Alma and Bert were great friends to my parents Ernie and Elsa Lintott thru the antique car association. Mom and Elma also had a love of crafting and painting and spent many hours working on projects together. She was one great lady and I'm sure she'll be missed. My condolences at this time of loss. - Posted by: Carol Stoess (Lintott) (Friend) on: Mar 21, 2015
