Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT KING May 15, 1933 - February 25, 2015 After a brave battle with cancer, Robert King passed away peacefully on February 25, 2015. Robert was born in Winnipeg and had resided in British Columbia since 1977. He will be dearly missed by his sons Jamie of San Diego, CA and Tom of North Vancouver, his daughters-in-law Stacey and Tanya, and his granddaughter Jadeyn. He was predeceased by his mother Jean in 1955, father James in 1977, brother Jimmy in 1987, wife Joyce in 1991, and son Andrew in 2012. He is survived by his sisters Wynn and May in Winnipeg and Jean in Victoria. Robert was a caring and generous man and was always supportive of the United Church of Canada, Sturgeon Creek United in Winnipeg, Lynn Valley United in North Vancouver and West Vancouver United. Robert loved sports and excelled at track and field in high school, and he especially enjoyed hockey, football and baseball. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Lynn Valley Care Centre for their attentiveness, compassion and caring for Robert these past few months.

It's hard to believe my father is gone but knowing he's in a better place is comforting. I miss him every day.
