JACK MCLEOD November 10, 1935 - March 18, 2015 On Wednesday, March 18, 2015, after a short struggle with lung cancer, Jack left our world quietly with his long time friends, Eunice Petrychko and Ken Thiessen by his side. Jack was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba on November 10, 1935. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Marie McLeod, his brother Bernard, six half brothers and sisters, and his wife Luella (mother) of Ken Thiessen. He will be greatly missed by his family Ken and Stella Thiessen and their children, John, Ken Jr., Robin, Suzette, Melanie, and their spouses and children. He was always their special Grampa Trigger. Jack will be fondly remembered by his long time friend Eunice, who was always at his bedside in the hospital. He had many friends who were all dear to him as he was dear to them. He was a loyal and helping person to many and had a special love for animals, especially dogs. Grateful thank you to all the nursing staff at Health Sciences Centre Rehab Hospital, 6th floor for their more than compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John XXIII Enhancement Fund or to the Winnipeg Humane Society. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. • Jack and his wife Lou Were good friends to my wife Margy and I when we all lived in Thompson with Ken & Stella Thiessen and Bounce and Rita Weir, Margy's parents. I will forever treasure memories of sitting in their backyard at the bar, having a wee drink and laughing our butts off. He was quite a joke teller.
