  • I miss you my friend. See you soon. - Posted by: Dale (Friend through football) on: Apr 12, 2018

  • Hi Ronnie, it's been a long time. When I found out, i just wanted to say thanks for all the great times we had. I remember walking to school, going to the bar, playing high school football together, eating pizza, watching TV at your place, it was a fun time. You were an inspiration buddy, just looking at you and I knew we could win that game in the fourth quarter. I remember catching punts all summer with you so you could be our team punter. Life was simpler back then, so buddy, have that peaceful easy feeling... - Posted by: Ken Chooi (Friend) on: Feb 28, 2016

  • I was deeply saddened to hear of Ron's passing. While working with him in the WHSFL I found him to be passionate about his football program and an honest and upfront individual. Our football community has lost a person who contributed mightily to the growth of the game of football in our province. We also lost a true individual and a hell of a fine man. - Posted by: Paul Normandeau (colleague in football) on: Mar 29, 2015

  • I did not know Ron, however, I worked with Louise, and heard many good stories about him. Judging from all the wonderful tributes, I know that he will be missed by many. • Ronnie was such a good friend, we spent many hours together in the weight room at the Regina boxing club, and having steaks and pints. I am deeply saddened to hear this news and offer my sincere condolences to Chop, Barb, mom and dad. - Posted by: Jim Schultz (Friend) on: Mar 27, 2015

  • Mr. Bresch was a joy to have as a teacher. He always wanted us to strive for the best. I was unfortunate not to be able to have played ball for him at Murdoch; I graduated right as the first team was forming. My prayers go out to the family. May you see God in the midst of this hard time. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. (‭Psalm‬ ‭34‬:‭18‬ ESV) - Posted by: Tyler Janz (Students) on: Mar 26, 2015

  • I worked with Ron at Robert Andrews. He was a gentle giant. I will miss running into you Ron and joking around. Sleep peacefully my friend. - Posted by: Joleen Bell (colleaque) on: Mar 26, 2015

  • Mr. Bresch was an awesome industrial arts teacher. I can still remember all of his funny stories and yelling at the people that never listened. He was a great man and a great teacher. - Posted by: Fred (Student from early 2000's @ RA) on: Mar 26, 2015

  • Ron was my industrial arts teacher at Robert Andrews, I still remember the first day of class sitting in the room he did intimidate us but once you got to know him he was a kind hearted man. Class was always fun but seriouse, he knew how to make you smile but also could put you in check. He was a great teacher and I'm glad I got the opportunity to have been in his class. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends who lost this beautifull Soul. - Posted by: jessica (my teacher) on: Mar 26, 2015

  • Mr Bresch was my industrial arts teacher back at Robert Andrews back in the late '90s. He taught me woodworking and how to draft, he is truly an unforgettable teacher and will never be forgotten. He will always remain in my memories and will be sorely missed. - Posted by: Chris Jacobucci (Student) on: Mar 26, 2015

  • Reading the tributes to Ron tells me he did not change after high school. I remember Ron who had a big heart and was a gentle giant, and a noble man who treated everyone equal and with a smile. He made us laugh and appreciate life for what it is. My deepest sympathies to the Bresch family and their loss. - Posted by: DougNichols (Friend/high school buddy.) on: Mar 26, 2015

  • With deepest sympathy to Mr. Bresch's family. He was an upbeat, honest man who made an impact on many individuals including myself. I will never forget his laugh and jokes when we sat down and designed salsa logos for his salsa jars and the great determination he had. • Mr. Bresch was my Industrial Arts teacher when I was at Robert Andrews. He was one of only a few teachers I have ever come across that taught with a fierce passion and cared that his students were engaged. Even though it has been almost 13 years since I had last seen him, he will be missed. He made a huge impact in my life. Condolences to his family, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Grace Kapkey (Student at Robert Andrews) on: Mar 25, 2015

  • I always remember Ron as my mom's cousin who was so much fun and so funny and gentle, and pretty cool when you're a kid that you can say my big cousin played for the Bombers. I do have a very funny memory as a child of Big Ron when my parents were having a good country living party, and Ron while playing cards kept rubbing our cactus that did feel soft to rub but would get every quill in your hand and ITCH. I insistantly as a round 7 year old and tiny as could be kept saying uncle Ron, cactus aren't for touching and you're going be itchy and he just rubbed my head, laughed and said no way, this is so soft. So in the morning when everyone got up with headaches Ron wondered why his hand hurt so much and was itchy? Hmm so I proudly mockingly and sassily was quite waiting for him to awake so I could say "I told you to stop rubbing the cactus, you don't touch cactuses". Ron was a great guy! Louise our prayers and thoughts are with you. Love Mandy Boulton (Little Chicken, Bonnie and Harry's Girl) - Posted by: Mandy Boulton (BIG cousin to me) on: Mar 24, 2015

  • Ron was my teaching partner at Robert Andrews in the Applied Arts program. I just had a chance to visit with him at a workshop in January and it was immediately like old times, he was in fine form. He was a gentle soul with a big heart. Louise please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. May the legacy of his football program live on at MMCI. - Posted by: Patti Douglas (colleague) on: Mar 24, 2015

  • Sad to hear this news about my old Strawberries and Bison workout buddy. Ronny and I spent a lot of time together in the 80s dropping Cal Murphy's name and Joe Mack's name all over Winnipeg. Ronny and Chop visited me out in Calgary and I always enjoyed hanging with the Bresch boys. What a legacy he has left at Murdoch MacKay Football. I know he was proud of his team and I know he will be missed. - Posted by: Pat DeLay (Friend) on: Mar 24, 2015

  • My condolences to Mr. Bresch's family during this difficult time. Mr. Bresch was one of kind. He was a big man with a big heart. He may have said things that people didn't like but I respected the fact that he always spoke how he felt. All of the "Boys" loved him, respected him, and most of all looked up to him. My son graduated last year but still keep in contact with him because he was a big part of his life. He was my son's building construction teacher and football coach for 4 years. We will miss him dearly, especially his wind up speeches :). Never forgotten and always remembered. - Posted by: Denise Cheang (Son's Football Coach & Teacher at Murdoch Mackay) on: Mar 24, 2015
