• Over the many years of living beside the Yanceys, our family has come to value their friendship, kindness and generosity. Billy loved to spend his days outdoors amid their beautiful backyard and Jo always cheerfully created a flower-filled garden for them both to enjoy. • I can honestly say that Mr. Yancey (Billy) was by far the biggest and most ardent football fan. For years, my friends and I would play hours of football on Lindsay field and Billy was always there cheering us on while he worked on his killer tan. He was always first to give a friendly "hello" - offering a warm handshake and display an infectious smile. Billy was one of a kind and a terrific person. • We enjoyed our visits with Billy and Jo for the past 10 years. My grand dog "Charlie" would automatically turn into Yancey's and he would run up and jump on Billy's chest and give him a big kiss... it was hard to tell who enjoyed it more. We would trade stories for hours while Jo fussed over us ..they were devoted to each other and it was a real pleasure to know two people so in love for 60 years. All of the neighbors will miss Billy.
