GARRY WAYNE KAUS August 21, 1946 - March 20, 2015 Surrounded by his family, Garry Kaus passed away peacefully on March 20, 2015 at St. Amant. Garry was a special gift and he will be greatly missed by his loving mother Dorothy, brothers Ron (Carole), Alvin (Kathy), Neil (Sharon), Bert (Tim), Lloyd (Caroline), sister Vivian Gallant (Dave), sister-in-law Sandy Kaus, nieces and nephews: Kelly, Tammy, Ryan, Jodi, Janessa, Justin, Bryce and Tyler, and many friends at St. Amant. Garry was predeceased by his father, Harding, brother-in-law Robert Lyle Simpson, sister-in-law Heather Kaus, as well as grandparents Ludwig and Anna Kaus, and Osmond and Matilda Burke. While living at home until age 53, Garry enjoyed riding his bike, playing baseball, street hockey and spending time at the cottage. Upon moving to St. Amant, Garry loved various activities and outings with his many friends, especially Tony and Darren. Garry will be remembered for his gentle nature, sense of humour and playful ways. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful staff at St. Amant for their excellent care of Garry throughout his years as a resident. Donations in memory of Garry may be made to the St. Amant Foundation, 440 River Road, Winnipeg, MB R2M 9Z9. A celebration of Garry's life will be held in the chapel at St. Amant on April 17, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.
