Betty was born in the year 1929 in Nottingham, England. She moved to Winnipeg in 1957 where she lived most of her life. In 1965 she married James Ross McMaster. They lived happily together for over 40 years until his passing. Betty loved raising her children, painting, quilting, sewing, and all manner of crafts for which she had an excellent eye for style and detail. Many of these were donated to charity, as was much of her time. She loved dogs and there were always one or two around her house, most recently her beloved Annie. Betty is survived by her daughter Lucinda and son-in-law Robert Pollitt, son Christopher, her grandchildren; Morgan, Mackenzie, James and Nicholas, her sisters; Mavis Fairweather and Jean Redfearn, her brother David Adkin and sister in-law Prue. She will always be in our hearts and souls. A private family memorial will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home in Calgary. Please forward condolences through www.albertaburialandcremation.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the World Children's Fund at worldchildrensfund.org ALBERTA BURIAL & CREMATION SERVICES Telephone: (403) 299-0123
