MARY KOHUCH August 17, 1930 - March 31, 2012 In memory of Mary, devoted wife, wonderful Mom and Baba, loving sister, aunt, and caring friend. God, help us to accept the things we cannot change. It has been three years and we have had to accept that we can no longer drop by to pay you a visit, hear your hearty laugh, talk about who has just had another baby or who has passed away. We miss being able to simply be in your presence and feel the love that you always showed us, in so many ways. Now that more time has gone by, we can more easily remember with gratitude the many years of good health that you had, reminisce about the pies and chuckle at your closets of clothes. No one made better dills. You continue to guide us as we live our lives. We often wonder: What would Mom say? What would Mom have done? We make "your" borscht or "your" paska with pride mixed with some sadness. We celebrate occasions together, but apart. What we wouldn't give for another shared meal, another conversation, another hug Thank you, Mom, for teaching us how to face a challenge, how to live our faith, and how to truly love.
