JUSTINA KRAJNC It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Justina Krajnc (nee Guzej) at the age of 89. After a brief illness and with her family by her side the last days, she left us on April 1, 2015 to cherish her memory. Justina, more lovingly known as Gram, leaves to mourn her only daughter Marianne and son-in-law Jerry Kuryk; grandchildren Kevin and wife Riva, Lynne and husband Trevor Mestdagh; great-grandchildren Riley, Karlee, Campbell and Cadence; sister Slavica Perus and her family and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, John Krajnc. Gram was never a material person and simply put, her family was the most important thing in her life. She was at her happiest cooking a big dinner for those she loved. She enjoyed being outside either in the backyard or as far away as Hawaii or her birth place, Slovenia. She loved to garden and always had a house full of plants. The simplest of things brought her the most pleasure. Faith was very important to her and she was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and the Catholic Women's League. She will be remembered for her loving smile and laugh but mostly for her generosity. You were always welcomed at her home and would never leave without having a drink and something to eat. She refused to take no for an answer. Gram lived a good, long life and we are grateful that she did. She will be sadly missed by those left behind, though we know we will never be without our memories of her. Sadness will eventually fade and be replaced by a warm smile when we think of her. It is not goodbye but see you later. Lahko noc. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7; viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. prior to the mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 95 McDonald Ave., with Father Dado Parrenas as Celebrant. Interment will take place at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the church hall. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
