MARGO DOVENE SINCLAIR
Born: Nov 04, 1966
Date of Passing: Apr 01, 2015Offer Condolences or Memory
MARGO DOVENE SINCLAIR After a brief illness, Margo Sinclair died peacefully on April 1, 2015. In her last days, Margo was surrounded by loving family and friends who will miss her more than we can express. Margo was born on November 4, 1966 and lived all of her life in Winnipeg. Graduating from Churchill High School in 1988 was a proud moment in Margo's life. She went on from there to work and volunteer in a variety of positions, making friends wherever she went. Margo was happiest when she knew her work was truly helping someone out. Making connections with people was one of the most important things in Margo's life and she had a gift for attracting solid, committed friends who cared deeply about her wellbeing. At the same time, independence was an essential part of Margo's life. In the last few years of her life, Margo was able to achieve her two biggest dreams. The first was moving into her own apartment, an event she celebrated annually with her friends. The second was her trip to Memphis to visit Graceland and Elvis Presley's birthplace. Elvis wasn't her only love, but he was her most important one. Margo's family and network of friends would like to thank the staff of the MICU at Health Sciences Centre for the compassionate and high quality care they offered in the last weeks of her life. Margo's funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Donations in Margo's memory may be made to Osborne House, Inc. PO Box 397 Stn Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2H6 or Innovative LIFE Options, 120 Maryland St, Winnipeg, MB, R3G 1L1.

Condolences & Memories (8 entries)
I remember Margo from Second Cup on Graham, she was a beautiful and kind person with loads of personality. I didn't really know you except for our hellos and good morning'\s. RIP and for sure you are amongst the angels. Lucia - Posted by: Lucia (casual friend) on: Apr 13, 2015
I remember when my aunty babysat my siblings and I. I also remember when we would go to the bus stop and pick her up when we would have her visit. haha .I remember this one time I asked my aunty to play barbies with me and she did and I had the biggest smile for a while. She was so sweet and kind. - Posted by: chelsey (aunty) on: Apr 09, 2015
R.I.P Margo Sinclair, You were one of the most happiest people I ever met. You always had a big smile on your face and literately treated everybody like they were you own family. Calling anybody you met your sibling or mom or dad or grandma and grandpa. It always brightened my day when you would come in to the library and call over to me "BROTHER!" and demand a hug, you will be missed. - Posted by: Logan ("Brother") on: Apr 08, 2015
Although we only knew Margo briefly she was a happy person whose bubbly personality was infectious. She brought joy to everyone around her. She was certainly one of God's chosen few and will be in good hands forever. Peace to you Margo and family. - Posted by: Brenda & Frances Robbie (Friend) on: Apr 07, 2015
Dear Margo. Silly giggle, full of love, best hugger ever, always could find my car in the parking lot when I couldn't, big smile, good friend. "I miss you." Please rest in peace. With love, Carol - Posted by: Carol Kemp (Friend) on: Apr 06, 2015
She will be deeply missed. I know she enjoyed seeing the scott-tones perform and attending the Winnipeg citizen advocacy dessert parties in the spring and their Christmas parties in the winter, unfortunately I am unable to make the service because of bowling which is the same night. - Posted by: Trevor walker (friend) on: Apr 06, 2015
WHAT A SHOCK TO HEAR ABOUT MARGO PASSING. SOME OF US WILL NEVER FORGET 1 YEAR WHEN MARGO BOWLED A 410 GAME RIGHT OFF THE BAT, AT OLD GARRY LANES. FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON 8 STRIKES IN A ROW SPARED THE 9TH FRAME AND STRUCK OUT IN THE 10TH. WON LADIES HIGH SINGLE RIGHT THERE AND THEN. YES WE LET THE SPECIAL OLYMPIANS BOWL THE WAY THEY WANTED AND TO SEE MARGO BOWL THAT GAME, WE WERE REALLY HAPPY FOR HER. YES WE TEASED HER A BIT BUT MARGO KNEW WE DID IT IN FUN. SUCH A LOVABLE PERSON AND KNOW, MARGO DID LIKE HER BOWLING AT GARRY LANES. SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED ALWAYS LIKED TO HUG ME WHEN SHE SAW ME, AND MARGO WAS A FUN LADY TO BE AROUND. SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED. NOW MARGO CAN BUG IZZY UP IN HEAVEN NOW. I met Margo when I was 16 years old and started my first job at The Keg. The first time we met, she said to me, 'there's two of me'. This is how she always greeted me each time I saw her. Our lives have crossed paths many times over the years. Her incredible smile and zest for life will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my dear friend. - Posted by: Margo Powell (Friend) on: Apr 06, 2015
