Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEVEN MICHAEL NICOLAS July 19, 1987 !April 4, 2015 On April 4, 2015, at the age of 27, after a very long and courageous battle with illness, Steven Michael Nicolas went home to be with Jesus. "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith!" Steven's memory will be cherished by his beloved parents, Omer and Stella Nicolas of Winnipeg, MB. He is predeceased by his Memère and Pepère, Eugène and Lucienne Nicolas and by his Auntie Jean. His smiles were a blessing to all. His dad's teasing and stories brought great joy to his heart. He loved to have his mom read Bible stories and verses and sing songs to him about Jesus. He responded to prayer and experienced God's healing touch several times in his life. He exemplified great courage, strengthened by his parents' devotion to him, in the midst of much adversity. He will be deeply missed! A very special thank you to the staff at Health Sciences Centre who lovingly cared for Steven during the last 15 years. Your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten. Thank you also to all our family and friends for their prayers and support all these years. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue with burial at Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg.
