Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN EUGENE FEY Suddenly on April 5, 2015, at his home in St. Andrews, MB, Eugene Fey, aged 88 years passed to find his eternal peace. Eugene was predeceased by his grandson Craig; sisters Audrey and Beverley, and parents Eva and Otto. Married for 60 years, Eugene is survived by his loving wife and companion, Donna; sons Larry (Karen) of St. Andrews and Roy (Sandy) of Edmonton; daughter Noreen (Dave) of Selkirk; grandchildren Kalvin (Cheryl), Christopher (Monica), Tyler, Kyle, Monica and Gina; great-grandchildren Clara and Maxwell; brothers and sisters, Lloyd (Renata), Allen (Louise), Wannetta, Kenneth (Myrna), Glen (Eleanora), Lorraine, Howard (Karen), Meryl (Frank), Diane (Fred), Caroline (Jim) and Darryl (Debbie), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. When he was younger, Eugene had many different jobs working in bush camps logging, stuccoing and plastering. Then purchasing land and farming for most of his life, he finally retired at age 76. During the summer Eugene could always be found outside, in his garden, planting his tomatoes and flowers, or in his shop working on his next project. Eugene was fortunate to spend his last 25 years wintering in Mazatlán with Donna and many of his brothers and sisters. Enjoying company dropping in, Eugene always had time for a visit, a good conversation, a tale or some history of which he loved to tell. The stories will be missed by many. As per Eugene's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
