THOMAS FORSYTH KYLE On Wednesday, April 8, 2015 Thomas Forsyth Kyle passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years at Grace Hospital, with his wife and family at his side. Left to survive Thomas are his beloved wife Jacqueline of 56 years of marriage; son Kerry; daughter Leslie (William); grandchildren Kyla and Lifman; brother Robert; sister Sadie as well as numerous nieces; nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Keir; mother Sarah; brothers William and Keir and sister Margaret. Tom was born in Paisley, Scotland on April 22, 1932 and moved to Canada on May 11, 1950. He met the love of his life Jacqui in Kitchener, ON at the wedding of their mutual friends and the two began their life long journey together on June 20, 1959, in Montreal. In Scotland and Ontario Tom worked a variety of jobs before moving to Winnipeg, MB, in 1965 to work with Huck Manufacturing. Tom and Jacqui acquired David Phillip Agencies in the mid 1970's and ran this business until their retirement, distributing industrial cutting tools and fasteners across Western Canada. In their retirement, Tom and Jacqui spent their days caring for their grandchildren, watching them grow into the beautiful young adults they have become. Tom was active with the University of Winnipeg radio station, CKUW, as a member of the radio program "2000 and Counting". He had a passion for Apple computers and kept current with each new model. Tom created web pages for such groups as the RCMP Veterans' Association and enjoyed teaching computer literacy to seniors. He also enjoyed puttering in his yard through the summer months. Tom was a jack of all trades, a selftaught man and an avid reader. As a champion of life long learning, he served for many years on Linwood Elementary School's Parent Teacher Home & School Committee. Tom had a smile and a personality that drew people to him and would fill any room with happiness and laughter. He taught his family what true love was and through everything always remembered his beautiful wife Jacqui. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB with Rev. Msgr. Ward Jamieson and Rev. Fr. We were very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Our sincere condolences to Jacqui & family. We have very good memories of Tom & know that he will be missed by many. "Tommy" was a big brother, and one of six in our family. His fondness and love for Scotland was always present and his thoughts and caring for his other brothers & sisters, always there. He was the "handsome" brother who moved to Canada to live with his sister & brother-in-law. But as a young man he met a beautiful nurse (Jacqui) from Montreal and stayed to raise his family in Winnipeg. Jacqui & Tommy brought his own parents Kerry & Cissie from Scotland to meet their new family and had many long enjoyable visits to Winnipeg. His "Scottish" family, will miss him dearly. - Posted by: Bob Kyle (Brother) on: Apr 15, 2015

It is through St. Paul the Apostle Curling Group that we met Tom. Tom was a great addition to the curling group always cordial and jovial.
