Dear Joan, Janet, and Kevin, We wanted to let you know we are thinking of you at this difficult time. We remember Ken fondly and I (Ruth) remember the fun times we had at the cabin and I also remember Ken at our house helping my brother set up his darkroom as well, of course, from all the babysitting I did. It was a bonus to meet up with you again out here in BC. Don & I send our condolences. - Posted by: Ruth and Don Morden () on: Apr 11, 2015

Ken was a friend and mentor. He is responsible for teaching me to respect nature through many trips to Rainy Lake and teaching me how to be an observer of nature through the lens of a camera. My sincere condolences. - Posted by: Jim Close (Friend ) on: Apr 09, 2015

I grew up with him in our small town of Fort Frances in the '40s -- Fort Frances High School! -- Knox United Church! -- and recall his eagerness and lanky stride really well. I also recall your Grama Grace who could really sing. NGZUET My condolences to all of you. - Posted by: Marjory Olsen Olson (Fort Frances in the '40s) on: Apr 09, 2015

Janet and Kevin, I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I remember so many visits to your house in junior high but especially remember the summers at the cottage on Rainy Lake. I can also remember being impressed with the shelves in Janet's bedroom and Kevin's loft bed that your dad built for you guys. I also remember how good your parents were to me after my dad passed away in the summer of grade 8. Your dad will surely be missed. - Posted by: Erin Thomas (Hilder) (Childhood friend of Janet. ) on: Apr 09, 2015
