Dad passed away the morning of April 3, 2015 at Victoria General Hospital. Dad was born in Fort Frances, ON. I was so sorry to hear from cousin Joyce that Ken had died. Johnny and I always looked forward to your Christmas letter and family photo. Through Ken's great photography we watched your family grow up. And always his cheery smile when we got together, in Winnipeg or here in Ottawa. - Posted by: Arlene Neilson (cousin of Joan's) on: Apr 14, 2015

Joan and family we are so sorry for your loss. Ken did a great job on the hospital visiting committee for Myasthenia Gravis Support Group and shared a wealth of information with the support group. Ken provided the support group encouragement, dedication and always provided a positive attitude and a huge smile, which we will miss dearly. - Posted by: Myasthenia Gravis Manitoba Inc. We all remember Ken with such fondness because he recorded our lives with such precision and artistry in his photography. He seemed to take such joy in doing it and always gave us memories to keep and share with our families.Nowadays everyone takes so many pics with their many devices, but none will ever be as professional and meaningful as the ones Ken took because he was one of us not just a casual observer. My sincere sympathy to you, Joan and all your family. Ken will be long remembered.
