Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • When I was a little girl my mother and dad said that we were going to grandma Finnigans house. I was about 4 years old. I did not know the difference between both of my grandmothers last names. One grandmother had grey hair and the other had black hair. So I called one grandma black nana and the other grey nana. Throughout the years those names stuck. “Black Nana” was my best friend. She would call me at work and ask if we could go garage sales the next day? We would travel to Fargo many times. We went on the VIA rail train lots. One time we went to Brandon with my cousin Shaun. What fun. Lots of amazingly funny stories she would tell my brother Jay and myself. Nana is with Jay in heaven. I miss everyone. Nothing but amazing memories. Love Jodie, granddaughter - Posted by: Jodie Thiessen (Grand daughter ) on: Jan 21, 2024

  • Nana was a Dear gift for sure. She was the essence of unconditional love and her love of laughter was the best! Our whole family adored her. We too miss her but are grateful for all the Blessings her life legacy left us in you and your family having become our family. - Posted by: Charlotte Livingston (Sister in law to Harry) on: Apr 14, 2015
