Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Hi my name is David Galvin. Please accept my condolences at this late date. My late companion Norma ran a boarding house in Waterloo probably in the 1970s. When Norma passed away I found a book of family photos and cards which I have reason to think may have belonged to Barbara. I would be happy to forward everything to an interested member of Barbara's family if you agree they are hers. I am willing to pay shipping charges and expect nothing in return. My email is d.galvin@sympatico.ca. Please respond there if you get this message and wish to communicate further. - Posted by: David Galvin (Arm's length) on: May 03, 2020

  • Barb's laugh and "ear to ear smile" will not be forgotten. When she asked "How are you?" she meant it and would always take the time to listen. She had such a great sense of humour and was so much fun to be around. My heartfelt condolences to Barb's family. - Posted by: Barb Bunko (co-worker HSC) on: Jun 02, 2015

  • Rest in Peace Barb. Enjoyed working with you at Statistics Canada and getting to know you better when my late husband Bill was the supervisor of Kenaston Estates. Always smiling. - Posted by: Pat Flaws (friend) on: May 08, 2015

  • Barb was always ready to pitch in and help, to find a way to get things done and deliver - with that great chuckle. My condolences to family. Audrey Hawkins - Posted by: Audrey Hawkins (HSC colleague ) on: May 03, 2015

  • Barb was a co-worker who turned into a wonderful friend. I will miss many things about Barb, among them her sense of humour, her kindness and her ability ro light up a room. I will also miss her Canada Day bar-b-ques. Rest well my friend. - Posted by: Brenda Ealing (Co-worker and Friend) on: Apr 25, 2015
