Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARCHIBALD ROSS MCLEOD April 7, 1943 - March 29, 2015 Ross McLeod passed suddenly on March 29, 2015 in Inuvik, NT. He is fondly remembered by eldest son Bill McLeod (Marnie Hilash) and grandsons Connor and Cullen. Ross was predeceased by mother Isobel, father Archibald and son, Doug. Ross was born in North Battleford, SK and grew up in Selkirk, MB and attended Mapleton School. A single father of two young sons, Ross and family travelled northwards, residing in Yellowknife, Whitehorse, Tuktoyaktuk and Inuvik. Ross was a devoted parent and grandparent, fond of outdoor adventure and an avid hockey and curling fan; he was also highly interested in genealogy and ancestry. Memorial services were held at the Inuvik Legion, McInnes Branch #220 at 3:00 p.m., April 7, 2015. Heartfelt thanks from the family to his Legion comrades and Town of Inuvik staff for their support in this time of loss. Donations in Ross' memory may be made to Inuvik Legion, McInnes Branch #220.

Ross gave my husband and I a tour of Tuktoyaktuk on our first visit to our Daughter who moved to the North in 1993. Ross loved that land and we have incredible pictures of the sights he showed us.
