Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySALEEM CHAUDHARY October 9, 1939 - April 18, 2015 Saleem Chaudhary, a devoted family man and a lover of Christ. Saleem came to Canada in 1968 from Sheikhupura, Pakistan with $40 in his pocket and faith that God would help him build a life for his family. Soon after, his wife and children, parents, and numerous relatives arrived. Saleem was instrumental in assisting many extended family members to Canada. His home was one of open arms; a place full of warm conversation and love that made you never want to leave. Saleem always made sure he made you feel like you were the only person in the room, with his genuine loving and caring nature. He was happiest when surrounded by his family; he lived for his grandchildren. Nothing brought more joy to Saleem that to sit in his chair and watch his family laughing, loving, and eating. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Eileen of 52 years, daughter Najma, husband Armjad and their children Shaan and Jaya; son Faheem, wife Melody and their children Kennadie, Mackenzie and Chandler; daughter Naghma, fiancé Corey and her daughter Tara. He also left behind siblings Shamim Robert, Nasim Chaudhary and wife Leandra, Naeem Chaudhary and wife Irene, Tasneem Henry and husband George, and Aleem Chaudhary and wife Shashi. We find comfort in knowing he was a blessed man, who blessed whoever he met. Saleem Chaudhary lived out his days with the constant love and compassion we all wish we had. Long live the beauty that comes down and through and onto all of us. "Love one another." In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to The Church at Pine Ridge for education of underprivileged Christian children of Pakistan. The celebration of Saleem's life will be held at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Viewing at 10:30 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear 'Mamu'. His twinkling eyes, his charm, and the delight he exuded when he was with family and friends will be remembered with fondness. We think back to warm embraces, late night chats in Ottawa, and tasty Lahori fried fish with sincere gratitude. He made a home in Winnipeg and because of this, many of us have had the blessing to experience, not only that great city, but the dream that is North America. We know his soul will be even happier in his new home. Our prayers go out to our loving Mami, his children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and extended family.
