GUY LAFRENIERE Peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the age of 61 years. Beloved husband of Janice (nee Williams), devoted father of Matthew (Jennifer) and Michael. Proud grandfather of Meghan and Olivia. Survived by his loving sister Gisele Shawcross (late Hugh), nephew of Remi Lafreniere. He will be sorely missed by his extended Manitoba family Ella Carmichael, Janet Sampson (Mike), Alison Loch (David) and by many nieces and nephews. Admired and cherished by Guy's father-in-law Doug Williams and the loving extended Williams family. Predeceased by his parents Bertrand and Lucille (Paradis) Lafreniere, his loving first wife Mari (nee Carmichael), and his father-in-law Alan Carmichael. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 in Ottawa.

My most sincere Sympathy Giselle, in the death of your twin brother, I could not believe my eyes when I read this, your Mom and I were very close, we lived int the same apartment block here. You most likely remember. We had many memorable times together playing cards. I still miss them. My heart and prayers go out to you Giselle.
