MARY (MERRY) LOUISE DOWNEY (nee COCHRANE) November 12, 1942 - April 5, 2015 She will be sadly missed and remembered by her five children, Lorene Schipper (Terry), Linda, Barrett Reid (Vanessa), Stewart and John Albert (Debra), her grandchildren Samantha (Brett), Ryan, Quinn, Curtis, Michael, Nathaniel, Rebecca, and Quade, her great-grandchild Freya, and her sister Deborah (Douglas) from Ontario, along with many nieces, nephews and friends She was predeceased by her parents Charles 1959, Myrtle 1999, her siblings, Catherine 1991, Charles 2000 and Anne 2014. Mary was born in Scarborough, Ontario, where she lived until she married. Merry travelled all over Canada before settling down in Winnipeg, MB close to her children and grandchildren. Interment took place on April 18 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Ontario, along with a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke, Diabetes or a charity of your choice.
