Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS MURRAY GRIFFIN On April 18, 2015, surrounded by friends and family, Tom suddenly and painlessly left us. Tom was born in Winnipeg on May 8, 1949. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Kathleen Griffin. He is survived by his sons, Garret (Rhiannon) and Terry; sister Wilma; brother Don (Wendy); granddaughters, Kate and Haillie; and very close friend Carol. A quiet man with a huge grin on his face, Tom was a hard worker who was always going out of his way to bring joy to others through large and small acts of kindness. If someone he knew needed something, he would go out of his way to "make it work" and he was quick to share all he had. He will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 2 at 11:00 a.m. in Korban Funeral Chapel. 204-956-2193.

The day before his passing, I first met Thomas while he was at work at Ann's Perogey Palace. Being long time friends of Carol and Bohdan of Ann's Perogey Palace, Thomas was sitting in the kitchen having lunch. We spoke for about half an hour and the next day he passed away.
