Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY OLEKSON Mary passed in her sleep on April 25, 2015 at the age of 86. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 62 years. Mary was born on July 27, 1928 in Tarnopol, Poland. Mary immigrated to Canada with her mother and brother in 1937. The family reunited and settled in Pointe du Bois, MB. Mary married Danny Olekson on September 20, 1952. They raised their family in Gonor, MB, Calgary, AB and Winnipeg, MB. They retired to Pointe du Bois, MB and later moved to Beausejour, MB. Their travels fueled Mary's passions for flora, fauna and fishing. As per Mary's wishes, no formal service will be held.
