DAVID SINGER David, father of Earl (Mimi) and Herb (Myrna), passed away peacefully on April 27, 2015 with his family by his side. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Congregation Etz Chayim, 123 Matheson. Longer obituary to follow.

Your father was a very important mentor to my father, Toby Kessler. He lived just down the road from my father on the farm, and he taught my father to ride a horse and farm the fields. Dad had many fond memories of him. So it was fitting that our dads got to spend a few of their last years together on the same wing at the Simkin Centre. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to get to know your family and spend time with all of you and your Dad in my many visits there. I particularly remember one conversation in a quiet area of the 3rd floor with just me, my dad and Dave, and the two of them actually conversed about the farm. Many memories.
