EDWARD STANLEY SHAYNA 1930 - 2015 Edward Shayna passed away peacefully on April 28, 2015 after a short illness. He was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on April 14, 1930, the youngest son of Polish immigrants. He was predeceased by his older brother Michael in 1994. He is survived by his wife Judith, who was the love of his life, his two sons Mark (Heather) and David (Julia) and his four grandchildren, Scott, Justin, Michaela and Kylie. He enjoyed his working years at Reid Crowther and Partners Consulting Engineers, overseeing his projects with pride and long hours. He retired in 1987 and when Judy retired, they purchased a home in Mesa, AZ. He kept up on the latest technology, enjoyed Sudokus, feeding the birds, his grandson's hockey, the Jets, and dining out with family and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Seven Oaks and Victoria Hospitals for the wonderful care received. Our heartfelt gratitude to his family doctor Greg Storoschuk. Following Ed's wishes, no funeral service will be held and a private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's name to any charity of your choice.
