HAROLD ARTHUR WRIGHT Passed away peacefully at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in Orillia, ON on Thursday, April 23, 2015 in his 70th year. Harold was the beloved husband of Lori Louisa Ross, proud father of Nathaniel Arthur James (Diane), loving brother to Valerie Betker (Wayne) of Winnipeg, Leslie Wright of Winnipeg and Catherine Wright of Edmonton. He was predeceased by his mother and father Arthur and Victoria Wright of Winnipeg, and sister Marnie Noall of England. Harold was born and raised in Winnipeg where he attended the University of Manitoba's School of Fine Arts. Harold received a Canada Council Visual Arts Bursary in 1968 and spent a year in Europe furthering his education. Throughout his life he continued to pursue his love for art and for many years was a fine arts photographer specializing in portraiture. For several years Harold's Rocksborough Studio was on the Muskoka Autumn Studio Tour where he exhibited his photographs. A celebration of Harold's life was held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East, Orillia on Thursday, April 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation.
