IRENE MURDOCH It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our mom on April 25, 2015 at age 68. Left to mourn are her children Tawna, Marcy (Saunder), Michael (Debbie), Marcellus, and David, mother Elsie, sister Barb (Guy), and sister-in-law Laurelle. She will be especially missed by her devoted and loving friend Barbara Paquin (Greg). Mom's passion was teaching. She was a devoted teacher for many years and made many lifelong friends. By request no service will be held. Mom, we will miss and remember you always. You are in our hearts forever.

  • Ms. Murdoch's grade 6 class at Meadows West school was close knit because of this great strong smart kind and loving woman. She changed my life in special ways I will always think of her and know many others do too. She was a blessing in my life I will carry her ways with me and never forget her stories or the powerful person she was.   • I am so sorry to hear about your Mom, she was my mom's lifetime friend and I will always remember her as very funny, always laughing and always positive. I have memories of her and my mom doing the "Bristol Stomp", drinking their boxed wine and in later years, me and Meg running into her on the Shooting Star Casino Trip. She will be greatly missed.
