Harry was a terrific athlete. He was a terrific catcher and hitter in the end was friends with me and my two boys. He could skate as smooth as anyone and when I was a kid I enjoyed watching him play both ball and hockey. He was a good coach and took a Yellowknife men's team to the Canadian men's softball championships in Victoria 1983 and then Fredricton New Brunswick in 1984. He made my boys a picnic table and helped me build a fence around my house. I saw him around town every few weeks the past year. He was fairly quiet in the end. He had a good sense of humour and he liked talking about the old days where Yellowknife was a very small close knit community. I will miss him. - Posted by: Andy Tereposky (He was my ball coach in 1983-85 ) on: May 15, 2015
