Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBESSIE EILEEN REIMER (nee SANGSTER) With love we announce the peaceful passing of Bessie on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Concordia Place Personal Care Home. She was with us a long and rich 96 years. Celebrating her memory are her son John, daughter-in-law Carol, granddaughter Tara, grandson Josh and great-granddaughter Ella Rose. Bessie was predeceased by her husband, Ed, four years ago. Bessie's career was spent at Carter Motors as their receptionist and switch board operator. For vacation, she enjoyed road journeys around the many attractions in Canada and the United States. Throughout her life, she was an avid bowler and between bowling seasons, spent her summer leisure time on the province's golf courses. She continued golfing until she was in her mid 80's and continued bowling right into her early 90s. Bessie requested there not be a funeral and we are respecting that request. For those wishing to make a donation in Bessie's memory please consider the Concordia Place Personal Care Home c/o 1095 Concordia Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R2K 3S8 where she was so respectfully cared for in her later life.

Sorry to hear of Auntie Bessie's passing. That's the one thing for sure I remember about her - the bowling/golfing she did. She was a lovely lady! - Posted by: Judi Thiessen (niece) on: Jun 08, 2015
