Words alone cannot express how much this amazing lady meant to us. Our kids (Whitney & Kevin) are the fine young adults they are today because of Auntie Mommy. She was and always will remain a major influence in their lives and for that we Thank her from the bottom of our hearts. We will all miss her tremendously and she will always be in our hearts. Rest in Peace Auntie Mommy. We love you. - Posted by: Shelley & Gordon Dunn (Whitney & Kevin) ((Friend)) on: May 15, 2015

Marlene was a truly amazing person and volunteer at Margaret Park School. She did vision and hearing screening, the home reading program, laminating, immunizations, babysitting, and general help for each and every teacher. She did all of this with a smile on her face and not wanting any attention drawn to her. I cannot express how much we all loved Marlene and how much we will miss her. She will always be in our hearts. My deepest condolences go to her family. - Posted by: Jodie Brisbin (Friend and colleague) on: May 13, 2015

Christie - We are so sorry for the loss of Marlene. She was such a nice, thoughtful and strong lady. We remember her reading the eulogy at my mom's funeral - she did a wonderful job, and added her own two cents worth! We are glad she is now at peace, and hope you can take some comfort in that. We'll miss you guys at lunch on Saturday! Take care. - Posted by: Towle Family (Chris, Jo-Anne and Bert) (Friend) on: May 13, 2015

I have known Marlene for almost 50 yrs. She was a true friend and would do anything for anyone. She was my live-in babysitter yrs ago and my kids were well taken care of and spoiled. The house was cleaned and supper was ready. No one could wish for a better nanny. She always put the children before herself for anything. To her daughter Christy my heart goes out to you and Carlos. You as well have had a rough last three yrs. Marlene is with the love of her life now and out of all her pain. Rest in Peace Dear Marlene. - Posted by: Margaret Wilkins (long time friend) on: May 13, 2015
