HARDY PENNER, B.Sc., B.Ed. It is with great sadness that the family of Hardy Penner announce his passing this past Monday, May 11, 2015 at the age of 83 at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg. He leaves his devoted wife of almost 60 years Glad (nee Dopson), his loving children; daughter Sharon (Tim) Banting, son Murray (Holly), daughter Holly (Diane), daughter Shelley (John), and son Bill. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren; Shawn (Chantal) Weremy, Lance Weremy, Harley Banting, and Brooke (Rob) and loving great-grandchildren Ana, Owen, Lucas. A celebration of his life will take place on May 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Westwood Presbyterian Church on 197 Browning Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB. Memorial donations may be made to MCC Manitoba, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 5K9 c/o Hardy and Glad Penner, or a charity of your preference.
