Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTEENIE KISS (nee TYMKIW) It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mom, Teenie Kiss, who passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at the age of 83 years, at Fred Douglas Society Lodge, Winnipeg, MB. Teenie was predeceased by her husband Nick, brother Alex, and sister Olga. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Carol (Ken), Peter (Andrea), Nestor (Marlene), Ron (Gail), Debbie (Kevin), and Lorne; her grandchildren: Michael (Samantha), Jennifer (Chris), Colin, Steven, Brian, and Alana (Ryan); her great-grandchildren: William, Andrew, Cory, Brooke, and Liam; and her siblings: Walter (Rose), Mary (Walter), Theresa and Joanne. Mom was born in Tolstoi, MB on December 11, 1931. Mom worked many jobs such as: Pauline Chambers, Nutty Club, Canada Post, and the last 20 years at Crown Zellerbach. When Mom retired, she enjoyed traveling to casinos for some gambling and shopping. Crocheting was a passion for Mom, making many afghans, doilies, and various crafts. Baking and cooking was also a passion as was teaching her family the fine art of Ukrainian cooking. Our family would like to thank the staff at Fred Douglas-Evergreen Unit for the care they provided. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing at the chapel prior to service. Lunch to follow. Interment following lunch at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Sarto, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
