ROSE BAIN With her family by her side and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister Rose Marie Bain at the age of 79 years young, on May 10, 2015, of Winnipeg, MB. Rose was predeceased by her loving husband George in 1993. Left to cherish her memory is her four children Sandy (Gary), Heather, Kevin (Magdelaine), and Glenn. Grandchildren Brittany, Steven, Brian and Jamie. She also leaves to mourn her passing, sisters Angie (Curtis), Marge (Dick) and Janice (Barry). Rose has been retired for many years. She worked for 30 years at the Sharon Nursing Home as a nurse's aide. One of mom's fondest memories was camping in Petersfield with her husband George, family and friends every weekend for 25 years. Mom enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whether it was watching television or playing cards. Mom was a huge fan of CFL football, Saskatchewan being her team she cheered for. She also watched baseball and curling. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the Casino. Mom was a kind hearted, caring person. She was a stubborn woman at times but always wore her heart on her sleeve. She always put everyone's needs before her own. She was someone you could count on for a good one-on-one conversation and a good laugh. She always made sure that everyone knew how much her grandchildren meant to her. The family would like to thank everyone at St. Benedict's Monastery where they made mom feel like family and also the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital on the 5th floor Unit 7. A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
