José is survived by his wife of 60 years Idalina, his children Madalena, Anabela (Antonio) and Aldina; his grandchildren Philip (Amy), Peter, Nuno (Nancy), Americo, Daniel, Alexa and Stephen; his great-grandchildren Jessica, Mya, Pippa, and Jayden. José was born on May 8, 1931 in Sobral do Parelhao, Portugal. Vigil prayers will take place 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin Street.
