JONA LARA EYJOLFSSON (ARNASON) March 15, 1924 - May 9, 2015 Jona passed away in Victoria, BC on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the age of 91 years. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Lucille (Day) of Winnipeg, Jo Ann of Victoria, Lori Lee (Howard) of Calgary; her daughter-in-law Cathy of Sidney, BC and her grandchildren Cheyenne, Erin and Drew. Jona is also survived by her sisters Valdine, Barbara and Helen and her brother, Wally (Dorothy). She was predeceased by her son Kurt and her sister Irene. Jona was born and raised in Riverton, Manitoba on the family farm Tungi. She spent most of her life in Gimli, Manitoba and had a long career in business and banking. Jona had a great sense of humour, was intelligent, genuine, loving and will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Ted Rosenberg, Dr. Mike Davison and the staff at Luther Court.
