Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY JOHN HARLAND 1947 - 2015 Stan passed away in Brandon General Hospital, Thursday, May 14, 2015 after a battle with Lung Cancer. He is survived by his wife Liz, son Jason (Melissa), daughter Crystal Zaleschuk (Marion), stepsons Christopher and Corrie (Mona), stepdaughter Mindy; sisters Bernice Lanouette (Marcel) and Mabel Pratt (George), and grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many cousins, as well as family friend Lesley. He was predeceased by his parents Lambert and Jean Harland. Stan grew up in Treherne and worked in Saskatchewan as well as in Winnipeg and Brandon. He will be missed by his furry friends Pumpkin, Zsa Zsa, Fidler and Ava. Cremation has taken place and no service to be held as per his wishes.

It is with sadness I send my hugs to Stan's family. I have fond memories of Stan being a pleasant fun loving person. I always thought he was the very best dancer on the dance floor! Those years of high school were indeed the best years and I was honoured that Stan considered me a friend. Treasure your memories as they will keep him forever within your heart. My deepest condolences to Stan's family and friends on the loss of a husband, father,brother and friend. The Harland family will always hold a special place in my heart for their part in creating the special memories I hold dear of growing up in Treherne and weekends at Gimili. I will always be grateful to Stan for his support in seeing me and my parents through period time of grief in the loss of my sister.
