I met Mary at Devonshire House, I did her Beauty treatments for her. She was such a lovely lady. We had such wonderful conversations and lots of laughs and fun. I called her "My Mary" there were so many Marys in the building and she was mine! Her favourite nail polish was called Butterfly Moment. I'm so grateful to have had such a beautiful soul enter my life. She was just beautiful. I will miss her dearly. Everytime I see a giraffe I will think of "My Mary." My deepest sympathies to her dear loved ones. - Posted by: Marla () on: May 21, 2015

Our sincerest condolences go to Mary's family on her passing! She and Jack welcomed Albert and I into their loving family and we shared many times together either at O. V. Jewitt school helping the children go through their days there, or picking apples and having cups of tea together in their home! Later on we also had the joy of visiting them in Comox, either together or me by myself. Jack and Mary always made us feel most welcome and shared all kinds of stories of their life in England. Mary had a keen sense of humour, strong opinions and a generous heart! She is now together again with her precious Jack forever. May God welcome her into His heavenly realm! - Posted by: Frances Cheetham (friend and former co-worker in Seven Oaks School Division) on: May 20, 2015
