Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • My deepest sympathy is extended to the entire Hiatt family in the loss of George. He and Joyce were wonderful lifelong friends to my parents, Helen and Rocky Bruyere, and to me. Our families were so intertwined and we helped each other through the bad times and shared our happiness in the good times. George was the kindest, most caring man and I was always so happy to see him and visit with him. He will forever have a special place in my heart. • Uncle George was a fun uncle with lots of jokes like his father and my grandfather. I appreciated staying with him and Auntie Joyce for 3 days several years ago. We all loved when he and Auntie Joyce came to visit. I remember how nice he was with our first grandchild Samuel who was just a baby. My condolences to Auntie Joyce and all my cousins and their family members. - Posted by: Betty Zaseybida (niece) on: May 21, 2015

  • So many of my earliest memories are of time spent at Uncle George's house. I started playing piano there. I learned how to ride a two wheeled bike there, etc., etc. I was always welcomed, and there was always much love and acceptance from Uncle George. He was always there for me, and I knew that I could always count on him if I ever needed him for anything and especially if it was just to talk and listen. I will miss you dearly, and you will forever be in my heart and memories! Love you Uncle George! - Posted by: Francine (Niece) on: May 20, 2015
